Gatekeepers

The Gatekeepers are an ancient tradition of druids, first started by the orcs living in the Shadow Marches. While most Marchers that follow Gatekeeper traditions have forgotten the reason for the group’s existence, instead focusing on the natural world and communing with primal spirits, the Gatekeepers were originally a militant order, dedicated to defending nature against the unnatural, particularly creatures from other planes, such as aberrations and demons, as well as the undead.

Gatekeeper druids and shamans start as aspirants, eventually rising to the rank of initiate and finally full-fledged Gatekeepers, who lead the order. The more martially-included devotees, such as rangers, barbarians, seekers, and wardens, are called hunters.
