An elaborate system of light, flag or sound signals is used, conditions permitting, to communicate with other ships and islands. | Inselburg is very peaceful in comparison to most of Near, but there is a martial tradition upheld by the few Fleet officers, some collegiums and hot-headed youngsters. The preferred weapons are knives and short swords, often dual-wielded with a coat or cloak. A Vadenite fighter is very certain of his feet, as he expects to fight in or from his boat. |
