Saldís Earthmaster 0109: These mountains are called the Giant Graves. The passes need a local guide to cross. There is a dwarven forge called Old Moon up here. This is a small forge. 33 dwarves live and work here led by Saldís Earthmaster.

0110: There is a hidden meadow up here, protected by the Giant Graves. A ice hydra lives up here. The glacier up here is the work of a hydra, a living manifestation of the ice realm.

0201: There is a hidden meadow up here, protected by the Mourning Mounts. A gorgon lives up here. A piece of the glacier has broken off and revealed an old temple of Freya, razed, defiled, and cursed with the presence of a gorgon. There are plenty of dead birds which have died due to the poisonous fumes.

0202: The upper valley is rocky and bare. Some boulders have been assembled into a crude stone tower inhabited 3 hill giants led by Dwarf Flattener. Blue Creek starts here.

0203: High up on on a ridge is an old elven tower made of green glass, now inhabited by a white dragon called Hail Agony the Sleeper. This is where the spring of Black Rivulet is.

0204: This swamp is home to 20 froglings in a mud village guarded by 2 giant toads. Loud Brook and Brown Channel merge here.

0205: The upper valley is rocky and bare. Some boulders have been assembled into a crude stone tower inhabited 8 hill giants led by Elf Flattener. The spring of Loud Brook can be found between some boulders.

They are led by Dwarf Finder but he insists visitors call him former soldier of Elam the Mighty. At the foot of a small hill, Blue Run makes its appearance.

0405: Nothing but gray rocks up here in the mountains. At the foot of a small hill, Carloman's Streamlet makes its appearance.

0406: Nothing but gray rocks up here in the mountains. The spring of War Rivulet can be found between some boulders.

0407: There is a cold pond up in this valley and in it lives a water spirit called Tears of Joy. This is where the spring of War Rivulet is.

This is a legendary forge stronghold. 240 dwarves live and work here led by Sigvór Stonefriend (level 9). 10 families live here, each led by a clan elder (level 6).

1107: The upper valley is rocky and bare. The bellowing hill giants can be heard every day up here. 6 of them have built a barricade across the passes, here. They are led by Man Squisher but he insists visitors call him Toll Master. War Rill runs through here.

1108: On one of the rock faces you can still see the markings of the old dwarf forge Anvillight. The ruin is abandoned and dead. If you explore the ruins, you will soon find the balor demon who caused its downfall. It guards a portal to the realm of eternal fire, to Muspelheim. The spring of War Rill can be found between some boulders.

At the back is an entrance to an abandoned mine. It's basically a deep hole where a single miner would keep digging for coal. Battle Run starts here.

1505: These wet land have been settled by a tribe of 24 lizard people led by Son of Set (HD 3). The little village of mud huts is guarded by spiked barriers. War Rill, Blue Channel, and Bone Rindle merge here. Mud Track leads through here.

Grub Friend 1506: These hills in Shadow Forest belong to the Scab-Thrasher tribe, 10 orcs led by Grub Friend (HD 5). Their fort is guarded by 5 boars. At the back is an entrance to an abandoned mine. It's basically a deep hole where a single miner would keep digging for coal. The spring of Bone Rindle is a small pond beneath some trees.

1507: This reed is home to a lot of eels. Those who know how to find it can gather Azure Moss. Deep Rill starts here.

1508: Steep cliffs make progress practically impossible without climbing gear. The spring of Old Rill can be found between some boulders.

1509: High up on on a ridge is an old elven tower made of green glass, currently the home of 5 gargoyles led by Rock. The spring of Ricchar's Waters is a small pond beneath some trees.

1510: The air up here is cold. You can see the Dire Giants looming up ahead.

1601: The green valley up here has some sheep and a kid called Al guarding them. This is where the spring of Bone Rivulet is.

1602: In the old days, this bog was used to drown evil necromancers. At night, the wight Maura the Terrible of Abilard crawls out of a wet grave and roams the land in search of followers. Bone Rivulet, Athanagild's Rindle, and Old Rindle merge here.

1603: Nothing but gray rocks up here in the mountains. The spring of Blue Channel can be found between some boulders.

1604: One of the hills has an old lookout from which you can see most of the Shadow Forest. At the foot of a small hill, Bone Runnel makes its appearance. Sheep Way winds its way along these hills.

1605: These wet land have been settled by a tribe of 27 lizard people led by Egg Mother (HD 4). The little village of mud huts is guarded by 4 giant lizards. War Rill and Bone Runnel merge here. Mud Track leads through here.

Ira 1606: The firs cast long shadows in these lands. At dusk and dawn a pack of 13 wolves roam these lands. There is a thorp of 40 humans led by Ira. The grass covered longhouses are protected by 4 war dogs. Loud Run runs through here. This is the beginning of Mud Track.

1608: The green valley up here has some sheep and a kid called Keg guarding them. Loud Waters starts here.

1609: Nothing but gray rocks up here in the mountains. The spring of Bone Brook can be found between some boulders.

1610: These mountains are called the Dire Giants. Fissures lead into the depth of the mountain and in the warm chambers below there sleeps the red dragon Burning Bone the Sleeper.

1701: The green valley up here has some sheep and a kid called Ila guarding them. This is where the spring of Berthefried's Rivulet is.

1702: The green valley up here has some sheep and a kid called Jo guarding them. This is where the spring of Old Rindle is.

1703: On one of the rock faces you can still see the markings of the old dwarf forge Great Grind. The ruin is full of broken machinery. In its depths, however, a bronze golem still wanders the halls. The spring of Athanagild's Rindle can be found between some boulders.

1704: On one of the islands of this swamp there is a huge mud mound. 15 goblins live here, led by Death Poker. The goblins have tamed 6 giant beetles. Goblins love to ride these into battle. War Rill starts here. Sheep Way goes through here.

Fungus Finder 1705: These hills in Shadow Forest belong to the White Knee Picking tribe, 50 orcs led by Fungus Finder (HD 4). Their fort is guarded by a boar. At the back is an entrance to an abandoned mine. This used to be a mine for a small family, digging for coal. The spring of War Rill is a small pond beneath some trees.

1706: In the old days, this bog was used to drown evil necromancers. At night, 4 wights led by Old Kali of Merlen crawl out of their wet graves and roam the land in search of more followers. War Rill, Bone Brook, Loud Run, and Battle Channel merge here.

1707: Small creeks have dug deep channels into Shadow Forest. The going is tough. Battle Channel starts here.

1708: The upper valley is rocky and bare. Some boulders have been assembled into a crude stone tower inhabited 7 hill giants led by Boulder Thrower. This is where the spring of Loud Run is.

1709: There is a cold pond up in this valley but it's cold and nothing lives here. The spring of Bone Brook is a small pond beneath some trees.

1710: The glacier of Dire Giants ends at a small lake and there is an ice cave leading beneath the glacier.

1801: The glacier of Dire Peaks ends at a small lake and there is an ice cave inhabited by a cryohydra.

1802: The glaciers flowing from the Dire Peaks need a local guide and ropes to cross.

Reban 1806: The forest is cold and dark, full of firs. Sometimes you can see some deer. There is a thorp of 30 humans led by Reban. The thatched huts are protected by 4 war dogs. Bone Brook runs through here. Gravel Lane and Old Fish Lane meet here.

1807: This reed is home to a lot of lampreys. Those who know how to find it can gather Azure Root. Bone Brook runs through here. Gravel Lane leads through here.

1810: There is a hidden meadow up here, protected by the Dire Giants. A ice hydra lives up here. The glacier up here is the work of a hydra, a living manifestation of the ice realm.

Bracha 1901: This is a fir forest. Sometimes you can see an elk. There is a thorp of 40 humans led by Bracha. The small stone huts are protected by 3 war dogs. Bone Channel runs through here.

1902: These mountains are called the Dire Peaks. They are impossible to climb.

1903: Nothing but gray rocks up here in the mountains. Battle Rill starts here.

1905: The forest is cold and dark, full of firs. In this fir forest is a little campsite with 8 bugbears led by Death Foot belonging to the Lynx Ears band. Theobald's Streamlet flows through here.

1906: The river widens here and forms a large swamp. You need a guide and boats in order to pass through it. War Rill runs through here.

1907: There is a hill rising high above Shadow Forest with a nice cave which offers shelter from the rain but is home to an angry, male bear. This is where the spring of War Creek is.

1908: Shadow Forest covers a few hills, here. One one them is inhabited by an ogre called Smash leading 2 more ogres. Gravel Lane winds its way along these hills. This is where the spring of Brown Creek is.

1909: On one of the rock faces you can still see the markings of the old dwarf forge Moonfather. The ruin is full of broken machinery. In its depths, however, a bronze golem still wanders the halls. The spring of Eira's Run can be found between some boulders.

2002: A white dragon called Ice Bone the Eternal lives in a ruined mountain fortress guarding the approaches to the Dire Peaks.

2003: On one of the rock faces you can still see the markings of the old dwarf forge Thundereater. The ruin is abandoned and dead. If you explore the ruins, you will soon find the balor demon who caused its downfall. It guards a portal to the realm of eternal fire, to Muspelheim. At the foot of a small hill, Theobald's Streamlet makes its appearance.

2004: These wet land have been settled by a tribe of 18 lizard people led by Nest Builder (HD 2). The little village of mud huts is guarded by a giant wasp. Theobald's Streamlet runs through here.

2005: Shadow Forest covers a few hills, here. One one them is inhabited by an ogre called Club leading 3 more ogres and 40 orcs of the Heart-Gnawer tribe. The spring of Leubast's Streamlet is a small pond beneath some trees.

2006: A ruined tower standing on a small island in this swamp is home to the ettin called Death and Pain. War Rill and Leubast's Streamlet merge here.

2007: There is a cave in this fir forest housing the ettin called Death and Pain. War Rill, Eira's Run, War Creek, and Brown Creek merge here.

Riccardo 2008: It's colder up here and the forest is dominated by firs. Sometimes you can see some deer. There is a thorp of 20 humans led by Riccardo. The log cabins are protected by some sharpened stakes. Eira's Run flows through here. Gravel Lane starts here.
