Nearing Splash Mountain, the players see anthropomorphic critters—-squirrels, badgers, rabbits, bears, foxes, etc.—-skewered on the thorns of the briar patch, singing Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah in agonized tones. Every minute, a ride log appears at the top of the flume with a ghost riding inside. The ghost will scream with delight as they make the drop, and a wave of slime will be splashed out onto the road. While near the mountain, the Ghostbusters must succeed at Moves 8 or else be slimed, which temporarily reduces a player’s Moves and Cool by 3 (until they can wipe it off, possibly with help). It also requires a Moves 5 to walk along the slime-coated ground without slipping, and Moves 10 while running.
Past Splash Mountain and around to the left, the surroundings are covered with wild overgrowth. Further along, the players come to a dense, evil-looking forest, with a broken sign on the floor reading “Hundred Acre Wood.” Traveling into the dense cluster of craggy trees, the GBs find themselves along a dark, unlit path. There are objects hanging from the tree branches, which require Brains 20 to detect with no light, Brains 15 to detect with some light, and Brains 8 to detect with a lot of light. These are security badges hanging from lanyards. Each belongs to one of the missing park employees, and there is an electronic chip in each one.
Every short while, the GBs will hear a warped voice calling out a familiar Winnie the Pooh catch phrase: “Oh, d-d-d-dear,” “Hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!,” “Think, think, think,” and the like. After the first security badge is found, the GBs will happen upon Winnie the Pooh stuck in a rabbit hole, asking for help.
If the characters pull him out (Muscles 12) they will find that his upper body is the tip of an unending system of fungal roots (“Oh, bother,” says Pooh). The roots grow and grow, filling the empty spaces of the forest. The Ghostbusters are forced to flee back out of the forest (Moves 8 to keep from tripping). Once they’ve escaped the woods, the roots keep up the chase, choking the entirety of Critter Country. The roots will stop at the border of New Orleans Square, and Critter Country will become inaccessible.
