The Ring Wall

The oldest part of the structure was once a lavish palace and stronghold of a long-dead noble family. The garrison still honors the family ancestors and has taken them on as guardian spirits of the garrison. The Ring Wall is a tall conical stone fortress topped with a covered gallery/wall walk. The wall is thick enough at is base to house several rooms chambers and barracks as well as the stairs to the levels and the top of the structure. The whole structure encircles a series of galleried gardens open-air courtyards, fountains, and halls. The perimeter of the wall is marked by four round towers, three of which overtop the wall by only a single story. The fourth tower is the Beacon.
