Anrak

A former adventuring partner of Killian’s, Anrak sent this letter to Killian shortly after the party looted Tamoachan.

Killian ye dog.

Howze by ye. Heard that ye was workin’ fer tha cudgel. Gettin’ religious in yer old age? Haha, Fallynd (member that rascal) sez he heard from a priesty fellow anna woman that ye was out in tha jungle somewheres. Not healthy fer a dwarf them jungles, ye need good cave air anna chance ta wet yer blade. That’s what I got here, plus a fat sack o’ coin. I be in Stormhaven, ye mighta heard bout it. Lovely lil’ town wit a nasty bit o’ history. Always good work protectin’ human folk from each other. Ye know how crazy them humans be. They all be like that here - lookin ta git a head but forgettin’ to keep thar own. Like that time when we be crypt lootin’, with that wizard, what’s his name, ye know - tha one who got an arrow in tha throat. Fool be in tha world o’ spirits now. Fat lotta good his greed done him. Like I says them humans have no sense sometimes. No feelin’ fer danger like us dwarves have. That bein’ tha reason dwarf warriors be in such demand. Ah, any way if ye feel like makin’ some coin ‘n raisin’ some hell – dwarf style, see me at a place upside called tha Captain’s Lady. Thar’s a mug er too innit for ye. I still owe ye fer axin’ that goblin priesty fer he took me helmet – wit me head still innit!

Anrak

If’n I aint in Stormhaven, I be onna way up tha river to a lil town named Bissel. I leave ‘fore tha end o’ tha next moon anna I be back bout spring.

Anrak later met up with the party in Ishtul. Much drunken carousing ensued resulting a bar brawl that left several unknown and unnamed assassins dead. Once it was discovered these agents were involved with the Others through Stormquil Halazar, Anrak was initiated by the Council of Patriarchs into the mysteries of the Others. Currently he and his party are on as assignment to recover an artifact of the Others for the Church of Moradin.
