Alignment: Any. If you have an evil character concept, run it by me first, and remember you have to play well with others.
Motivation: Your character should have a reason to be in Sandpoint, and be willing to go on adventures.
Races: All PFS legal race. Run other races by me.
Classes: No summoners. None of the Occult Mysteries classes. If you were waiting for the AP to play a Paladin, this is the one.
Archetypes: Regional or racial archetypes that you wouldn’t normally qualify for may be acceptable on a case by case basis. (Example, I’ll allow Halfling Filcher as a general rogue archetype) No Thassilonian Sin-Schools for wizards. If you’re wondering why (and you’re not Linda), then I don’t really know what to say.
Traits: Each character receives two traits and a bonus campaign trait. See the Rise of the Runelords Player’s Guide (or, y’know, Herolab) for further detail.
Religion: Several faiths are featured in the adventure path, but there is no overarching theme. The primary deities of Sandpoint are Abadar, Erastil, Desna, Gozreh, Sarenrae, and Sheyln.
Enemies: Common enemies feature Humans, Goblins, Giants, Wizards, Giant Wizards, and the occasional magical beast.
